Below are some key tips on how to implement an integrated marketing campaign successfully:

  • Define your goals and tactics. Create a clear plan of what you want your integrated marketing campaign to achieve. Define the purpose of each channel, who exactly the target audience is and what you are going to communicate to them.
  • Study the market. The key is to know exactly what your audience is looking for, what types of communication they respond best to and then figuring out how you can give them what they want in the best way possible, so that they absorb it and take action.
  • Get it down on paper. Make sure to write out your plan and have a few people review it. This way you can make sure that you have your entire basis covered and nothing is missing. Writing the plan down will also help you stay on target and give you a guideline to work by.
  • Gather your tools. Pick which tracking tools you are going to use for each channel, so that you can monitor the results. This way you will be able to tweak something if it’s not working and also know what to do better for the next marketing campaign.
